Captain Scott Whittaker - Marine Services Consultant

Scott Whittaker

Scott is a licensed boat Captain and trusted consultant with extensive experience in virtually every facet of the marine industry. He was born and raised on Puget Sound, and almost as soon as he could walk, he started "working" on his grandfather's tugboat.

His seafaring journey since then has taken him to ports of call ranging from Antarctica to the Galapagos Islands -- from the southern Caribbean to the Gulf of Alaska, where he also directed the construction and operation of a private-island retreat. And his career on the water includes involvement with everything from specialty racing boats to oilfield service vessels.

Scott has also spent many years managing private luxury yachts, working with owners throughout the process of purchasing, piloting, maintaining, refurbishing and even selling their vessels. And he has many professional connections throughout the marine industry as well as broad personal experience in the business of boat building, maintenance and repair.
